As you start the design process of your new exciting project, we suggest
that you review your needs and desires before coming to see us at Kitchencraft Cabinetry. Below we
have provided a list of important information that we will need to start this process, as well
as a step by step guide to how we work.
Rate your Kitchen or Bath Guide
Using the NKBA “Rate your Kitchen or Bath Guide” (new browser will open) make a list of
what you do like and don’t like about your existing kitchen. Any photos of the existing area, or of your “dream” will assist us
in the initial design process.
Define Your Budget
If this is a renovation, how much renovation are you prepared to do? Would the
removal of a wall allow us to help you create that special area? Are you purchasing new appliances,
flooring, besides the cabinetry and countertops? All this should be taken into consideration on what you
are prepared to invest into this project.
Draw a Rough Sketch
Using the guidelines below, draw a rough sketch of your floor plan and
take measurements. It does not have to be precise, we need a guide to help us understand the area
we will be working with.
Call the Showroom
Call the showroom to set up an appointment with one of our designers for your free consultation.
During your free consultation, we will discuss your ideas, questions and budget. We will prepare an
initial design and price based upon the information you provide and present these to you in approx a
week.
You can then choose to retain our services, after which:
- We will come to your home to verify measurements, meeting with any contractor you may have hired to prepare the job site for our cabinetry and countertop installation.
- You can still choose to make modifications to your design, as we finalize the project details. Once you approve the design, we order your products.
- It will take 6 weeks to manufacture the product, during which time the final installation will be scheduled according to your renovation/construction schedule.
- We will deliver your products and our skilled installers will put your cabinets and countertops in place in a professional, timely manner.
- An inspection appointment will be made to review the product and installation.
